Today after a hearty breakfast, explore the wild life of Ranthambore National Park in a jungle safari. Ranthambore National Park, a Project Tiger Reserve, is famous for its mighty tigers. Tigers can be spotted in broad daylight thus negating the misconception that tigers are nocturnal animals. Spotting a tiger is not always easy, it depends on sheer luck. However, in Ranthambhore, the opportunity to view a tiger is quite good. Panthers are the second largest predators of this forest. They are not easily noticeable during daytime. Marsh crocodiles are found in good numbers in and around the lakes of Ranthambhore. Visit Mani Bhavan, a museum which was the former residence of Mahatma Gandhi when he stayed in Mumbai from 1917-1934.
